Friday is my birthday - and we are off to a great start to the week! We received gender-neutral baby legwarmers AND matching headband from Hippy Child Crochet & Fiber Arts, LLC. They’re PRECIOUS!!!! And I am now editing with a drawing tablet, thanks to a certain VERY awesome Aunt.

Today is Mother’s Day.

I am not only blessed with a beautiful mother - but one I am proud to call a business partner. She is my best friend, my confidante, an anchor, inspiration, and has a wicked sense of humor.

Today - we celebrate the women in our lives. Sisters, aunts, grandmothers, cousins… Moms. I’m sure you will all understand that while we do so, this page will be quiet.

 Happy Mother’s Day. You are appreciated - not only today, but every day, and that is not said nearly often enough. <3

I know that not everyone was able to be present for this particular pose - but I sure do love seeing all the smiling faces of those that WERE available!

At Christmas, we ran a program, encouraging you to send us submissions of extraordinary families that you know, that have touched your lives, and that needed extra Christmas cheer. We received many heart-wrenching stories, but the winners were these siblings.

Tonight, the stars finally aligned, and we were able to visit with them for their session.

WHAT: In-Home sessions, capturing your daily life. Tickle fights, the kid’s crafts, the loving details you’ll remember all your life, beautifully documented.

HOW: We will travel to your home (travel fees may apply) for up three hours, and share in your day. We may have a few suggestions to bring out the best possibilities, but intend to keep these documentations as organic to YOUR life as possible.

I’m trying - REALLY trying - not to swamp you guys with pictures of our new baby! Buuuut, there were questions on how our older dog (Dana, he’s about a year and a half old) is reacting to a new puppy.

He’s pretty happy to have a playmate and someone to snuggle with, but he’s got an issue with the idea of SHARING his daddy! Paige’s way of resolving that is just to climb over her big brother.. and sit on both boys. ;-)

We had the joy of photographing a seventh birthday party this weekend at Chuck E. Cheese’s. I’d forgotten how much FUN that place was - and I’m so glad we were able to attend.
