Thursdays tend to be my day off. So, I spent the day working on a new photography technique.. and all I can say is that I’m SUPER grateful for a very patient doggie. :-) He’s a chocolate lab named Dana.

So, what’s the technique I’m working on? Turning my 50mm into a macro lens! How do you think I’m doing? I GENUINELY would like an answer to this question.

Using my lens as normal is on the left - the right is my attempts at macro-less macro shots. ;-)

Fact: I would usually put this shot in black and white… but I just can’t bring myself to take any of the color out of this pretty redhead’s ginger eyelashes.
