Ahhh, puppy love! ♥ ♥

SarahAnn and her boyfriend, Jason, added to their little family last night. And.. it’s a girl!

This is Paige, a sweet four month old lab mix, who is a new baby sister to Dana, a year and a half old chocolate lab.

Thursdays tend to be my day off. So, I spent the day working on a new photography technique.. and all I can say is that I’m SUPER grateful for a very patient doggie. :-) He’s a chocolate lab named Dana.

So, what’s the technique I’m working on? Turning my 50mm into a macro lens! How do you think I’m doing? I GENUINELY would like an answer to this question.

Using my lens as normal is on the left - the right is my attempts at macro-less macro shots. ;-)

Using a queen-sized bed sheet, a dollar store hoola-hoop and a roll of coordinating ribbon, I’ve created an inviting reading nook for new little readers. I’ll be adding a throw blanket under the pillows when the weather cools down to keep it cozy. :-)

This October wedding is going to be a BLAST and we already know it! But maybe, guys, we can leave the ducks and geese behind - this photo-bomber is looking a bit like a peeping tom. ;-)
