Whooops, wrong settings! Thank goodness I shoot in RAW, or I would have completely ruined this sweet smile and dimple from the always lovely Becca.
Fellow photogs - have you come over to the dark side to shoot RAW? The left is straight out of the camera. All those blown highlights are so, so sad, but we’re only human, and hitting the wrong settings DOES happen on occasion. It’s worth the transition period. Promise!
Last week’s storms knocked out most of the cherry blossoms - but there are a couple hearty ones that are still spectacular. ♥
LOVE her - and love the gloves from T and D Crafts!!

Had to post this one first - even though her hair is in her face (the wind tonight was BRUTAL!) - because the pose reminded her of her senior portraits, one of which remains a lifelong favorite photo.
One of our two cats is SUPER camera-shy (she seriously runs from it).
Lucky for me today, she took a long, deep nap - in the best lit area of the house. Pretty girl’s name is Joy.
That’s.. Joy Hell-on Paws.
DID YOU KNOW…
One of CC’s many talents is the ability to grow nearly anything? She has quite the green thumb, and pansies are one of her favorite flowers. ♥
One of our “ladies,” Joy Helen. She’s extremely camera shy, so I only was able to snap a VERY quick shot of her enjoying Cat-Tv this morning.
You can see the snowy tree behind her - but you cannot see the assortment of Junkos and Finches on the bird feeder. The birds on the feeder? We call that CatTv. ;-)
One of CC’s, last March.
Missouri Botanical Garden - are the cherry blossoms blooming again yet?? :-)
